AD Middle East tours a soulful Carmel Highlands residence by Studio Shoshin that reinterprets American Arts and Crafts design for modern California living. Designer Alexis Smith retained much of the home’s original millwork while introducing refined lighting, cabinetry, and brass details that honor its craftsmanship. The formerly enclosed kitchen now opens to forest views, featuring verdigris tiles, dark green cabinetry, and a custom brass hood.
